What are the Vetting Requirements for Joining the Veteran Community?

To ensure our all-inclusive veteran residence in Cocorná remains a supportive and close-knit environment, we have established a three-step vetting process for all prospective residents. These requirements are designed to build a vetted veteran community focused on shared values and cultural fit.

Our vetting requirements include:

  • A Private Conversation: You will speak directly with our founder, Robert Bibb (a disabled US Army veteran). This conversation allows us to get to know you, assess your commitment to the community, and ensure you are a good cultural fit for our intentional mountain retreat.
  • Application Submission: You must submit a completed application detailing your interest in the residence.
  • Reference Checks: Standard reference checks are conducted for all applicants to maintain the safety and integrity of our brotherhood.

These steps help us manage our small, 12-room facility effectively. Please note that while we provide administrative support for local procedures and benefits, this residence is not a medical or therapy program and provides no clinical services. We recommend consulting a healthcare provider or VA representative for professional medical or benefit advice.
